What’s Your Edge?

I recently got back from Vegas. As I was walking around The Strip, I thought to myself, “What makes this hotel-casino better than that hotel-casino?”

I quickly realized that a blackjack table at Monte Carlo is the same blackjack table at Aria. The felt might be different and the dealer might be different, but the table itself is basically the same thing anywhere in the world—let alone Vegas.

I’m not denying that the product itself is not important. The product matters. But let’s face it, you can’t turn chicken shit into chicken soup. If the product is bad, it’s bad. But let’s assume the product is good for everyone.

Hawaii is flooded with REALTORS®. The average person probably knows at least 2-3 REALTORS®. The thing is, most REALTORS® have the same value proposition. Like a blackjack table in Vegas, a REALTOR® in Hawaii is basically the same thing in any other part of the world.

Real estate is a customer service industry. The few REALTORS® who consistently succeed are the ones who provide an amazing experience to their customers. By giving the client and exceptional experience, the client will tell all of his or her friends about you. The cycle is never-ending.

Vegas exist because the house has the edge. However, millions of people still flock to Sin City every year to wager their hard earned money. As my friend once said, “When you go to Vegas, you lose all sense of financial rationale.” I agree! But why?

It’s the experience.

Vegas found the formula to make you feel special when you gamble. It’s hard to explain in words. Just walk up to a table and buy-in; you’ll know what I’m talking about.

If you are looking for a REALTOR® who will always have your best interest, I’m your guy. Allow me to earn your trust and respect. Through this process, I will ensure your home selling or purchasing experience will be exciting, happy, and invigorating. That’s my edge.
