I recently informed my client that his offer was rejected. Going into this process, my client knew that he would be competing against multiple offers. Knowing the odds could be stacked against him, my client and was not rattled at all. My client put his best foot forward and he instructed me to submit his offer.
One the biggest challenges in life is having the courage to pursue things that make you happy. Sounds easy, right? Well, not really. For many people, the fear of failure often inhibits a person from chasing their dreams and goals.
When I was coaching varsity football, I remember we would have all day Sunday meetings. As the season progressed, I suddenly realize these meetings were somewhat pointless. For hours on end, our coaching staff would discuss, analyze, and even argue what plays we should practice for the upcoming week. The irony is, when it was game time, we hardly ran the plays that we mapped out earlier in the week.
What is the parallel to life? At the end of the day, who cares if you submit an offer on a property and it was not accepted. It is better to try and fail, than to never try at all.
That's why I am a real estate agent. I came into the business to make something out of nothing. When it comes to pursuing your dreams and goals, don't be afraid to make a move.
